Q: What’s the catch with custom sizes?

A: Custom sizes require special machine setups. That setup costs us time and money. So, to make it worth it, we need a minimum order of 5,000 units. The good news? No setup fee. Ever.

Q: Is custom less sustainable?

A: Unfortunately, yeah. Custom sizes often create more material waste — during setup and every time we run that size again. That’s why we always recommend sticking with our standard sizes when you can. Less waste = less impact.

Q: What are the size limits for custom pouches?

We’re glad you asked. Here’s the nitty-gritty by pouch type.

Web Width Limits:

• Metallized film: Max usable width = 27.5”
• Clear or white film: Max usable width = 29.5”

(Note: These are based on current supply — always subject to change.)

✦ Stand-Up Pouches

Height (with gusset):

• Max = [2 × height] + gusset ≤ 27.5" or 29.5"
• Example: 12” height + 2.5” gusset = 26.5” total = ✅ Good to go
• Max height with a 2” gusset = 12.75” (metallized) or 13.75” (clear/white)
• Min = 3.14” (with zipper, 4.5”+)

Gusset:

• Max = 5”
• Min = 2”

Width:

• Max = 13.7”
• Min = 3.14”
